Daniell Manor (Est.1901 “Susan Daniell House”) was constructed for the widow of John Daniell, owner of Tamarack Mining Co., after his death in 1898.

The Manor was designed by Charlton, Gilbert & Demar, the same architectural firm that created the campus for the Michigan College of Mines, now Michigan Technological University.

In 2018, Copper Island Properties acquired the Manor and began a set of renovations. Our goal has been to
preserve the historical beauty of the building’s details and provide a way for the public to experience this space up close.

We hope you enjoy the surroundings, the history, and your stay in this beautiful property located in historic Laurium, Michigan.
